Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account data: your email address, name and optional avatar; sign-in records such as sessions, passkeys and two-factor settings.
• Workspace data: business name, address, email, phone, logo, bank details and currency you enter in Settings.
• Your clients' data: names, email addresses, postal addresses and tax IDs you add, plus the invoices you create for them.
• Email activity: when an invoice or reminder is sent, to which address, and when it was first opened.
• Usage analytics: anonymous page-view statistics.

How we use it

Only to run Invoicebook: signing you in, storing and displaying your invoices, generating PDFs, emailing invoices and automatic reminders on your behalf, and keeping the service secure. We do not sell your data or your clients' data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Email open tracking

Invoice and reminder emails contain a tiny image that tells you when your client first opens the email. Recording this lets Invoicebook show "Opened" next to an invoice. No other information about the recipient is collected.

Service providers

We rely on these providers to operate the service:

• Supabase — database hosting;
• Vercel — application hosting, logo/avatar file storage and anonymous analytics;
• Resend — delivering sign-in, invoice and reminder emails;
• Google and Microsoft — only if you choose to sign in with them.

They process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in, and a short-lived cookie during Google or Microsoft sign-in. Your theme and view preferences are stored in your browser.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. Deleting your account in Settings → Account permanently removes your account, and any workspace where you are the only member together with its clients, invoices and email history.

Your rights

You can view and correct your data in the app at any time. To request a copy or deletion of your data, or to ask anything about privacy, email support@invoicebook.io.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way we will let you know by email or in the app before the change takes effect.
